Adolescence significantly shapes a lifetime of mental health, with half of all lifetime mental illnesses beginning by age 14. Today’s students face unique post-pandemic stressors, including social isolation, economic hardships, and academic disruptions, which lead  to increased anxiety across all grade levels. This version of Be Your Own Bestie™ presents age-appropriate, relatable knowledge and tools for participants, tackling topics such as setting and maintaining boundaries, developing emotional intelligence, practicing self-advocacy and individual expression, managing stress, and accepting yourself.
